Tony Pascoe

  • Principal Podiatrist

Tony graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Podiatry from the Queensland University of Technology in 1992. Since then, he has worked in a variety of clinic locations all over Australia, including Cairns, Brisbane, rural Victoria and Tasmania, before opening the North Queensland Foot and Ankle Centre in Townsville in 1998. Tony’s primary interest area is in Sports Medicine, which lead him to complete post-graduate studies in this field at the University of South Australia in 2006. He has extensive experience with national sporting teams, being the North Queensland Cowboys team Podiatrist since 2003, the current Townsville Fire National Women’s Basketball team Podiatrist and the Podiatrist for North Queensland Brisbane Roar Youth Soccer Academy. He is also a past president of the Townsville sub-branch of Sports Medicine Australia. Tony has successfully treated a wide range of athletes in his clinic, from children to recreational and elite level sportspeople. He is a member of the Australasian Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine and Sports Medicine Australia. He has also served on the board of the Australian Podiatry Association as senior vice-president.

Ian Anderson

Ian graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in 2006 with a Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry). He has gained a wealth of experience in all aspects of Podiatric care while working in a variety of locations across Australia and New Zealand. In his spare time, Ian enjoys a very active outdoor lifestyle as owner/operator of NQ Cycle Journeys, providing bike hire and self-guided/guided tour options in the Townsville region. Ian also offers specialist gait assessments and running coaching, along with general Podiatry care at the NQ Foot and Ankle Centre.

Rebecca Gilroy

  • Podiatrist

Rebecca started her podiatry career at NQ Foot and Ankle Centre in 2007, and was a much loved member of the NQFAC family for 3 years before her husband was posted to South Queensland in 2011. Over the last 11 years, she has been President of the Australian Podiatry Association, owned her own clinic in Warwick, Qld, and then moved to the Gold Coast to teach Podiatry students at Southern Cross University for the last 7 years. She has now returned to Townsville and will be continuing to teach podiatry online, and seeing patients at the Kirwan clinic on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings. Rebecca returns to Townsville with her husband and two little girls and a wealth of experience she looks forward to sharing with her patients. Rebecca is an endorsed prescriber and has special interests in paediatrics, biomechanics and lower limb medicine. Rebecca grew up in Charters Towers and is excited to be back in beautiful North Queensland.

Kellie Parker

Kellie initially began her career in 1995 as an anaesthetic technician at the Brisbane Mater Mothers and Children’s hospital. After 9 years in this role, she retrained as a Podiatrist and joined a large private practice in Brisbane in 2005, before starting her own business in 2011.
Kellie relocated to Townsville with her family in 2020, and is enjoying the relaxed tropical lifestyle in North Queensland.
She enjoys all aspects of Podiatry, with a special interest in diabetic and general foot care.
