Tony Pascoe

  • Principal Podiatrist

Tony graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Podiatry from the Queensland University of Technology in 1992. Since then, he has worked in a variety of clinic locations all over Australia, including Cairns, Brisbane, rural Victoria and Tasmania, before opening the North Queensland Foot and Ankle Centre in Townsville in 1998. Tony’s primary interest area is in Sports Medicine, which lead him to complete post-graduate studies in this field at the University of South Australia in 2006. He has extensive experience with national sporting teams, being the North Queensland Cowboys team Podiatrist from 2003-2017, the current Townsville Fire National Women’s Basketball team Podiatrist and the Podiatrist for North Queensland Brisbane Roar Youth Soccer Academy. He is also a past president of the Townsville sub-branch of Sports Medicine Australia. Tony has successfully treated a wide range of athletes in his clinic, from children to recreational and elite level sportspeople. He is a member of the Australasian Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine and Sports Medicine Australia. He has also served on the board of the Australian Podiatry Association as senior vice-president.

Renee Smith

Renee graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in 2006 with a Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry), Hons.  Since moving away from Brisbane, she has enjoyed living and practising in Darwin, Tamworth, Toowoomba, and now, Townsville. Renee enjoys all aspects of Podiatric practice and has a wealth of experience managing a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions.  She has two gorgeous boys and loves to run in her spare time.

Salomi Kruger

Sal graduated from La Trobe University in Melbourne at the end of 2018. Originally from South Africa, she grew up in Adelaide and finished her schooling in 2013. Having always been passionate about health and wellbeing, she moved to Melbourne in 2015 to begin her studies in Podiatry.

In her spare time, Sal enjoys playing sport, hiking and going on adventures with her husband.

Salomi enjoys all aspects of Podiatry, but has a particular passion for biomechanics, sports injuries and diabetes management.

Ebonnie Twining

Ebonnie graduated from the Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Podiatric Practice course at La Trobe University in Melbourne in 2018. Before moving to Melbourne, she grew up in a small rural town approximately two hours out of Melbourne.

Ebonnie is passionate about helping people resolve and prevent foot and ankle pain, resulting from injuries or daily living activities. She enjoys working to resolve issues causing pain, including education and implementation of devices to assist in the management of chronic conditions.

When not practicing podiatry, Ebonnie enjoys time with family and friends. She also spends plenty of time outdoors, adventuring and participating in a wide range of sports.
